As a favorite spot, Luutasuo is perfect for macro photography. It hosts numerous species of sundew, which I find incredibly photogenic. In this particular shot, a cranberry adds an extra touch, almost blending seamlessly as if it were part of the sundew itself.
Pitkälänkoski is an excellent place to photograph banded demoiselles in the summer. Here, a female is laying eggs in the shallow water near the shore. The photo was taken right at the water's edge, against the light.
