ABOUT ME

I’m a 1969 born keen photographer from Helsinki, Finland. Especially nature aside with the travel photo shooting have been close to my heart already for last 20 years. In the beginning it remained a bit on the background due to family and work life, but it was always my dream for photography to become a bigger part of my life – and finally this has happened! Usually I choose birds and other animals as targets, but for sure other nature themes are of interest. I find water as an intriguing element no matter if it is running loose or frozen by the cold winter. Right now, I’m seeking for new challenges from the competition and exhibition activities.

As it is not really possible to shoot the pictures from the living room couch, one needs to get on the move. A trip to the forest calms, relaxes and reduces your stress hormone level significantly. The more often you visit the forest and the longer you stay, there the better the feeling gets. In the nature with the camera makes you really tick!
